The name Minerve is derived from the Greek goddess Minerva. She was the goddess of wisdom and intelligence, also of war and the olive tree.
She was the daughter of Jupiter and the titan Metis. Her characteristics are a helmet, cloak, a shield decorated with Medusa's head, lance, the olive tree, an owl, a grape vine and winged Victory.
Created in 1968, Minerve has always worked with exotic products, starting with the production of ready-made meals such as couscous or paella.
Over time Minerve has modernised its products, constantly adapting them to its clients' requirements and to consumer preferences.
Respecting its tradition of quality, Minerve has an original feature, as it started cultivating its own beansprouts more than ten years ago.
